Something else I really like is food , not that I am a fantastic cook or spend all my life eating.I just really enjoy well-cooked tasty food. My favorites are hot spicy foods like Indian, Thai and Mexican. I also really enjoy Italian, middle-eastern and Chinese.I have put together a page of food links which I intend to use over the years to come to sample the world's cuisine even more.

Food is almost a world on its own. A person could probably eat three different meals a day for a thousand years and not have exhausted totally the variety in food that the earth has to offer.

It may seem strange reading and writing about food when ,after all, food is to be EATEN. However , you may be like me and enjoy reading about what goes into a meal and how it is prepared also.

Below are a lot of links to sites about food. When I get a computer installed at home I will use these sites to investigate the world's cuisine more than I do at present by "zooming" in on dishes that appeal and learning how to cook them. (Note: As I add new links the tables may lose their alphabetical ordering.)

Someone once described an Irishman's idea of heaven as "lashings of eating and drinking". Throw in a couple of other things and the description is getting quite close.
