Biography
David Jones is an Associate Professor at West Chester University, as well as an acclaimed practitioner in the field of graphic design. David received both his Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts from Temple University's Tyler School of Art.
David has held senior design positions at studios in Philadelphia and Secaucus, and published work for clients such as W hotels, The Yards Brewing Company, HBO, Motorola, The American Psychological Association and many others. More recently, his personal clients include The Death of the Fox Brewery, The Philadelphia Barber Company, The International Trumpet Guild, Temple University, Drexel University and The University of Pennsylvania.
David's work has been recognized both internationally and nationally by organizations such as Graphis, Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA, Print, Applied Arts, The Adobe Achievement Awards, The American Institute of Graphic Artists and The UCDA among others. Most recently he collaborated to develop a series of travelling installations for Speaking For Ourselves, a self-advocacy organization of persons with disabilities. The work was shown in the Philadelphia Constitution Center as part of the first stop of the tour.
David currently lives and works out of West Chester, PA.
