Biography

My academic home is the field of rhetoric and composition, with a focus on visual and multimodal rhetorics, digital rhetorics, the history of rhetoric, and religious rhetorics. My current projects include a study of religious iconography and an exploration of Lucie Olbrecht-Tyteca's contributions to the New Rhetoric Project. I am additionally part of an international RhetAI research group that is working on rhetorical AI literacy.
