Biography

Ed holds a B.A. Philosophy from Rutgers University (1996) and an M.A. Philosophy from West Chester University (2008). His philosophical interests include the history of philosophy, ethics, social and political philosophy, and animals. He is also interested what evolutionary biology, psychology, history, sociology and the arts can contribute to our understanding (and improvement) of the world. He regularly teaches Introduction to Philosophy, Introduction to Ethics, and Animal Ethics, and spends most of his free time in Philadelphia, in the woods, or at the beach.
