Biography

Successfully defended my dissertation on Friday March 17 2023. Research study on the integration of simulation using ATI supported resources and impact on undergraduate nursing students' perceptions of clinical readiness. MSN, RN, CMSRN 8 years as a Registered Nurse on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as a staff nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor. Part-time clinical adjunct professor at local university nursing program for the past 4 years. Full-time instructor in the Health Career Pathways program at local technical college high school for the last 3 years. Full-time assistant Professor of Nursing @ Lincoln University for the past 2 academic years. Intrinsically motivated with a strong work ethic. I am prepared to continue lifelong learning and act as a leader in healthcare as medicine evolves. I am an advocate for patients, families, and students. Teaching is my passion and I utilize various instructional strategies and active learning techniques to engage learners. I have created curriculum for several courses and have spearheaded the integration of digital learning platforms (AES, ATI) into programs. I seek independent opportunities to develop as a nurse, leader, and educator. I look forward to collaborating with peer scholars on future research as technology evolves and Next Gen NCLEX launches.
