Biography
Heather Waymouth received her B.S. in Elementary Education with a second major in Biology at SUNY Geneseo. She received her M.Ed. in Adolescent Literacy and her Doctorate in Literacy Education at Syracuse University. Dr. Waymouth has seven years of experience as a high school literacy specialist. Her research focuses on equitable literacy instruction, especially as it relates to disciplinary/content area learning, and incorporates classroom, professional development, and teacher education lenses.
