Bereavement Announcement Request

When a current or retired employee of West Chester University passes away, the Human Resources Office will send out a bereavement announcement to the campus community via an all-users email. Please complete the Bereavement Announcement Request Form so that accurate information is shared.

William B. Anderson

William B. Anderson
William was a Professor of Criminal Justice at WCU for 11 years, and one of the original founders of the Department of Criminal Justice in the early 1970's. He will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

Angelo Verduci

Angelo was a stone mason at WCU until he retired in 2003. He will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

Kenneth Lynn Perrin

Kenneth was a former President of West Chester University from 1982-1991. He will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

Dr. Russell Kenneth Rickert

Dr. Russell Kenneth Rickert
Dr. Russell Rickert was a retired Professor of Physics. He retired from WCU in 1990. He will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

Charles Gangemi

Charles Gangemi
Charles was a Professor Emeritus from the School of Music. He retired in 1991. Charles will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

John J. Furlow

John is a retired Professor of Kinesiology and past assistant and head coach of WCU football and the WCU boxing team. He retired from WCU in 1990. John will be dearly missed by the WCU community.

Dr. Edward Pollak

Ed was an Emeritus Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Psychology. A memorial was held on Friday, March 23, 2018 in Philips Autograph Library for friends, family, colleagues, and students to gather and share memories of Ed's life and acknowledge the huge positive impact he had on the university. Ed will be dearly missed by the WCU community.
