Welcome to the College of the Sciences and Mathematics. We invite you to share in the rich educational experiences we offer.
We offer modern curricula that foster a broad understanding of our world and an ability to reason and solve problems using the methods of the social, natural, computational, and mathematical sciences. Students in our College take part in many distinctive opportunities, including field schools and field experiences, state-of-the-art laboratories, study abroad, and internships and clinical experiences essential to professional development in the field. Several College programs are accredited by the top professional societies in their disciplines, and our graduates are eagerly sought-after by regional and national employers in a variety of sectors, including healthcare, education, technology, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Our faculty are award-winning teachers and scholars. They work with undergraduates and graduate students on leading-edge research projects, many of which are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation and other agencies. They are influential researchers, publishing widely in their fields and providing expertise to the media and the public as well.
