Bio
Dr. Jenn Raskauskas earned her B.S in Education and B.A in English from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA; her M.A. in International and Transcultural Studies with a specialization in language, literacy, and technology from Teachers College Columbia University in New York, NY; and her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Writing Studies from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has taught in Milton, Pennsylvania; Rome, Italy; Harlem, New York; and Urbana-Champaign, IL. Her research interests include children’s writing, with particular interests in linguistically and culturally diverse classrooms and children who work together to compose one text; sociocultural and new literacy studies perspectives; and international education.
