Kelly Goodman

Biography

Dr. Kelly Goodman received her Ph. D. in history from Yale University in 2021 and began teaching future teachers at West Chester that fall. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Kelly worked as an education data analyst in Detroit during the era of free market school reform.  Her research finds alternatives to disinvestment in the history of grassroots struggles to fund equitable K-12 schools. Kelly is the faculty advisor for Students for Socialism, West Chester’s only left-leaning undergraduate campus group, and a member of the APSCUF-WCU Membership Committee. She is interested in advising undergraduate researchers through West Chester’s Student Undergraduate Research Foundations.
