Graduate Assistantships
A graduate assistantship (GA) is an opportunity to earn a tuition waiver plus a stipend while working in a research or service-oriented capacity.
MSW/BSW Opportunities - The Graduate and Undergraduate Social Work Departments have a limited number of GA positions each year. Each spring the list is updated of open GA positions in these departments, and the job descriptions will be listed below. Positions are removed from the website as they are filled. If no positions are listed below, be on the lookout for information in the spring semester for an email from the department, and in the weekly Department Update. Campus-wide opportunities may be available year round (see below). If you are a newly accepted student, feel free to reach out directly. Please email MSWProgram@wcupa.edu with any questions.
Campus-wide Opportunities - As a WCU graduate student, you can also apply for a GA position in any department on campus via "Handshake". The Graduate School has information on that process.
