  • To create and participate in forums that seek to eliminate all forms of racism and harassment that prevent the campus from improving its climate.

  • To become a model for the commitment to social justice.

  • To support and encourage existing and new forms of inclusive and representation.

  • To develop an administrative-leadership model that is appropriate for the mission of this group.

  • The Commission will collaborate with the administration and serve as an advisory board on issues concerning multicultural faculty.

  • The Commission will serve as a monitoring board for multicultural faculty and the administration.

  • The Commission will actively work in nurturing an open, honest, and meaningful communication among the administration and the campus community , particularly with the multicultural faculty community.

  • The Commission will serve as an informal recruiting board.
