4'-methyl-α-Pyrrolidinopropiophenone (4-MePPP)
5% HAuCl4 in 1:2 concentrated H2SO4: H2O
4-MePPP forms tufts and sheaves of yellow straw like long blades with the acidic gold chloride reagent. The crystals appear white under crossed polars. Crystal formation time is about 5 minutes with less than 10 μg of substance.
