Christine Cuozzo earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education at the Pennsylvania State University. She then received her M.Ed. in Literacy and her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from West Chester University. Dr. Cuozzo previously taught first grade in the West Chester Area School District. She also worked as an adjunct instructor at West Chester University for ten years, teaching in-person and online literacy courses and supervising reading practicum students and student teachers. In addition to her university responsibilities, Dr. Cuozzo frequently volunteers in various teaching roles at her church and at summer camps. Her research interests include field supervision and interactive read-alouds.
