CELA - Civic Engagement Leadership Ambassadors
CELAs are our student leaders and representatives selected from among the majors to be part of the department’s outreach and engagement effort. They actively participate in the department life, serve as liaisons to the wider campus community, mentor students, facilitate special events, maintain our presence in social media, and otherwise assist anyone wishing to learn more about the political science major. If you have questions about the life in the department, academics, student activity, resources or simply want to learn more about majoring in political science or life at West Chester, consider reaching out to one of our ambassadors. They will be happy to address your inquiries. This academic year we have some outstanding ambassadors:
Ronnie Yeakel
Ronnie is a political science major with minors in history and LPS. She is currently
interning for chesco Dems right now and was a Girl Scout for 12 years.
RJ Jacobson
I'm a political science major on the American Politics track, and a journalism minor. A fun fact is that I've been published in the Quad, I love to read in my free time, and I'm teaching myself guitar!
