Undergraduate Information

The Pre-Medical Program is looking for academically talented and highly motivated students. Generally, applicants rank in the top 10 % of their high school graduating class, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and pursue a demanding high school program including advanced science and math courses, and achieve a minimum combined score on the SAT (Critical Reading and Math) of 1240 or an ACT score of 26. For students with earned college credit, the minimum GPA is 3.2 for acceptance into the program.

To apply to West Chester University's Pre-Medical Program:

  1. You must complete and submit a WCU undergraduate admissions application.
  2. You must complete and submit a supplemental application for the Pre-Medical Program. Please complete and return to pmed@wcupa.edu or mail completed form to:

If you do not currently meet the GPA requirement, you can apply as soon as you earn a 3.2 GPA.

To remain good standing in the Pre-Medical Program you must maintain a 3.2 GPA or higher.
