There are several ways to get involved in research in the I/O Lab at WCU
Undergraduate Research Assistant
If you are interested in learning more about Industrial and Organizational Psychology
and gaining experience doing research, please consider joining the I/O Lab as an Undergraduate
Research Assistant. After consultation with Professor Mishra, you can arrange to take
PSY 410 to receive credit for your work with the lab, or you can volunteer to assist
with our current research projects. You would work along side current Graduate Research
Assistants and Undergraduate Research Assistants on a number of projects, and gain
valuable knowledge and research experience.
Graduate Research Assistant
Interested in gaining research experience? Learning how to analyze data? Doing your
own semester long research study? Consider taking PSY 510 as an elective course to
receive credit for your work with the lab, or you can volunteer to assist with a currently
ongoing project. You would work along side faculty, current Graduate Research Assistants
and Undergraduate Research Assistants, and gain valuable experience conducting research.
