Queer and Trans students are often missing family support, in need of specific types of resources to affirm themselves, and are less likely to access them through traditional channels. Thinking critically about the intersection of marginalized identity (like queerness) and resource scarcity, QT-Mart aims to distribute resources free of charge to queer and trans students that help support their daily lives. The goal of this project is not only to foster success for LGBTQIA+ students by fulfilling material needs, but also to create coalition and awareness across LGBTQIA+ facing entities on campus and in the WCU community.
