Pennsylvania Theatre Institute
West Chester University's summer theatre arts program is a safe, supportive environment for young people to grow, play, learn, and thrive.
At the Pennsylvania Theatre Institute at West Chester University, our teachers aren't just award-winning professional actors, designers, musicians, and improvisors with lengthy careers in the Philadelphia region. They are also world-class educators and university professors, with years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring young artists.
Our state-of-the-art facilities at West Chester University are equipped for student success. Our students train in acting, improvisation, movement, voice, dance, and theatrical design, creating their own showcase projects as they go. But most of all... they laugh, learn, and build lifelong friendships with one another.
