As a sub-baccalaureate certificate, the program and its courses are open to both degree-seeking
undergraduate students with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and above, and non-degree students
who meet the minimum university admission requirements.
You will need 4 classes at 3 credits each to complete the certificate. One of the
3 credit classes is HEA 200: Introduction to Global Health, and you can choose the
remaining classes from an approved list of elective courses.
Depending on whether you are full-time or part-time, you can complete the certificate
in 1-2 years.
For a degree-seeking student, the courses would need to count toward degree completion
(even the 120-credit requirement) to be eligible for federal financial aid. A non-degree
student may not be eligible for federal financial aid to cover the courses.
