West Chester's First is here to connect first-generation students to resources on campus. One of the best ways to guarantee student success is through student involvement. West Chester's First encourages you to explore the many clubs & organizations, including First Gen Rams (open to all first generation WCU students) and Tri-Alpha (the first generation honor society).

The research shows that students who have involved parents and family members are more successful and are retained at a higher rate, and first-generation college students specifically benefit personally and academically from “sustained family pride”.

West Chester's First is excited to honor and celebrate our first-gen students as graduation approaches. Join us for a free professional photoshoot at the Ram Statue. Bring your Cap and Gown.
