Club Information
- If you are interested in learning German, please contact German Club Advisor Dr. Joseph Moser. We offer German classes at all levels at WCU and welcome new students to our classes.
- German Club Meetings are held weekly
- German Club Movie Nights every other week
- Outings to local restaurants
- Representing German at the Languages and Cultures Day in fall semester
- Attending the annual Schnitzelfest at Rustin H.S.
- Active involvement in student club activities on campus
- Some of the activities that the German club has done in the past include:
- attending plays in Philadelphia
- watching German and Austrian films
- attending talks at the Department of Germanic Languages at the University of Pennsylvania
- eating in a German-themed restaurant
The German Club met at Brauhaus Schmitz, considered Philadelphia’s best authentic German restaurant and beer hall!
The German club visits the Sedgwick Theater,
to see an adaptation of Kafka's Metamorphosis.
